This was a great tour - lovely way to see parts of Sydney you wouldn't otherwise experience. Seeing koalas and feeding kangaroos and wallabies was particularly special! Also loved the winery visit.
Great and fun experience!
Steve did an amazing job sharing great insights on wildlife and nature of the area. He is very knowledgeable and welcoming! Private Feedback: Thanks for such a special experience, we truly enjoyed it!
This was a wonderful experience! The deep knowledge and background that Steve knew really helped add valuable context throughout the tour. In addition, entire agenda was well organized and on time. Wouldn’t have done this tour any other way! Highly recommend! A++
It was an amazing trip! My sister and I really really enjoyed the day with (the other) Steve at the national park, the waterfall and many other spots. Steve was a real expert and we felt very welcome! Thank you for this experience. We would highly recommed! Private Feedback: Thank you for the amazing day ! :)
Steve greeted us on time and gave us that Australian experience we were hoping for. He was funny, engaging, knowledgeable, and had the perfect accent. Petting the koala and feeding the kangaroos was worth it alone, but Steve also gave us a great tour with expert knowledge of plants, animals, and local history. . Highly recommend this adventure. Private Feedback: Had a great time with you and enjoyed your sense of humor. . The only thing I can think of to make the trip better is to have a little cheese and bread with the wine to clean our palates. . Otherwise, great job!
Great opportunity to see things a little bit outside of Sydney. Tour bus had USB outlets which was a nice touch. Steve gave good information throughout the tour. Nice lunch options. Private Feedback: Would have liked more information on when we might have been swimming. I felt a little rushed at the waterfall and would have liked to have known I had a certain amount of time I stead of all being with the group.
Really nice day. Steve knows a lot and it’s really interesting to learn from him. I recommend it. Thank you
Mixed feelings about the journey. Steve knows a lot to tell and that time was there, because being on the road took a good part of the day. Private Feedback: I have to say that I have mixed feelings about the day. The amount of 173 euros I thought was high for what I experienced. Of the day we have been traveling around 80% and 20% at destinations. The zoo was nice, too short time at the waterfall, the food was not great but okay and I expected the wine tasting more enjoyable with some snacks. This was very sales oriented.
Steve was great and the tour was incredible. Seeing all the animals at the Wildlife park was amazing. Lunch was super! The water falls were terrific and the winery was awesome. I super highly recommend this tour. It was GREAT! Private Feedback: Thank you for the experience and the ride to Fish on The Rocks! We totally enjoyed today!
This experience was absolutely incredible. It was such a good way to do all the typical Ozzy things in one day. Steve was amazing with an incredible wealth of knowledge. The experience was so fun, full of laughs and what topped it off was the other wonderful people we also met along the way. I would highly recommend this experience.
Outstanding! Even with moments of not great weather - which Steve immediately addressed, beautiful umbrellas at the ready - each stop along the way felt special and provided an experience I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Dariusz-16-Sep-2019.jpg-Dziekuje super miły gospodarz duza wiedza.Dzien w ktorym poznałem kawałek Australi.Polecam polskim turystą. Thank you
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Frank-16-Sep-2019.jpg-Steve has a great depth of knowledge about Australia, and was able to convey that knowledge to the tour group.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Heidi-16-Sep-2019.jpg-Really amazing day! Steve was a great guide and was very passionate about all the activities. He has great stories!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Nick-16-Sep-2019.jpg-Amazing time! Great host and incredible destinations on the tour. My favorite day of this trip
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Alicia-13-Sep-2019.jpg-I’m so glad I booked this experience early in my trip. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sights from the breathtaking trip along the Grand Pacific Drive, to standing over the ledge of a cliff looking down to see a beautiful waterfall. The highlight was definitely experiencing a close up interaction with the many native animals at the wildlife refuge. All my friends can’t stop telling me how jealous they are of this adventure. Steve was a phenomenal guide along the way, answering any question the group might have had. A++ for this tour!!!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Kari-13-Sep-2019.jpg-A full day of activities including getting up close to Australian wildlife at a local wildlife park/zoo. You will spend the day touring the south coast and southern highlands. It is a very long day and many hours are spent in the van on the tour getting from place to place but you do get to see a different part of the country. Nice small group- 10 people.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Kris-13-Sep-2019.jpg-Wonderful experience! Steve was very knowledgeable about all the topics of the areas we explored. My favorite was the special Koala petting, up close and personal! Highly recommended!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Yi-Chieh-13-Sep-2019.jpg-The attractions are very thoughtfully curated to create a sense that we are having a premium experience - private koala encounter for the group, lunch ordered in advance to be served upon arrival (lunch was amazing - not expecting this because meals with tours are usually disappointing, but this turned out to be the best meal I've had in Sydney), wine tasting with pairings etc, therefore it is very good value for the money. Also, you get to cover many attractions in a day, so this is highly recommended for people who have limited time but want to cover as many grounds. The only downside (if you must name one) to covering this many attractions is that you will be sitting in the car for quite a while. Not too much walking so overall a very relaxing tour. I am more soft-spoken, and the guide noticed and went out of the way to make me feel welcomed, so I am really grateful for his kindness. Thank you so much for having me on this tour!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-The-Best-Day-In-Australia-11-Sep-2019.jpg-Where to begin to describe this amazing day!I had originally been looking for a wine tour but I’m so glad I discovered this tour instead. Pick up is at 7.30am at the Marriott on Pitt Street at Circular Quay. Groups are small but I was really lucky and there were only 4 of us on our tour. This meant we all easily bonded and got to know our tour guide Steve very well. Steve is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. We had lots of impromptu stops en route to our first view stop. Driving through the royal national parks the coastline and views are stunning. Symbio Wildlife Park is an absolute highlight. Here you get the opportunity to see Koalas up close and can even pet them (although not hold them). You are given bags of grass so you can hand feed the wallaby’s and kangaroos. Definitely not something you get to do everyday and something I will never forget. Some of the wallaby’s had joeys and seeing them pop in and out of their mothers pouch was magical. En route to our lunch stop (included in the price along with an alcoholic drink) we drive over Sea Cliff Bridge and lots more photo opportunities. Weather dependent a swim at lunch is optional but it was a bit too cold and windy for me so I enjoyed the view. After lunch we headed off to see Fitzroy Falls. Although it’s no Niagara Falls the view is stunning. Our last stop took us to Centennial Winery where we had the opportunity to try 21 different kinds of wine. We had such a great time here. At the end of the day it’s an 1.5hr drive back to Sydney and our original pick up point. Steve certainly knows his stuff and his energy, enthusiasm and obvious love of his home shines throughout the day. I can not recommend this trip highly enough

Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Tasha-10-Sep-2019.jpgWonderful day trip!! Steve was knowledgeable, organized and patient. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an authentic experience! Private Feedback: Thanks again Steve. We loved everything about our day and the restaurant you recommended was amazing! We had a great dinner with great company from our day!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Alicia-9-Sep-2019.jpg-Wonderful experience! Great host!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Jason&Cami-9-Sep-2019.jpg-This experience is a must do! If you’re looking for an all inclusive trip that includes the best, this is it. I promise you will not be disappointed . The tour guide, Steve wholeheartedly cares about each person and is clearly excited to show the group around!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Kate-9-Sep-2019.jpg-Take this tour! You will not be disappointed!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Unmissable-It's-Seven-A-Sydney-8-Sep-2019.jpg-Absolutely the best trip you can choose in Sydney! A full day with Steve, who will show you everything makes that part of Australia famous all over the world. Close contact with native Australian wildlife, amazing landscapes (in spite of cold and rain during our trip!) and wonderful food and wine. Everything with a pace, but not in hurry. Steve is not only a knowledgeable and accurate guide but also a wonderful fellow traveller who is able to communicate all the love for his country. Thank you!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Allyson-6-Sep-2019.jpg-This was such a fun experience! I loved the koala encounter! Definitely worth doing.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Jason-6-Sep-2019.jpg-The positive reviews convinced me to take this trip outside Sydney and it gives you a good sample of outlying areas south of Sydney. I was not disappointed in this experience, the Symbio Wildlife Park with the kangaroos was a highlight. I also purchased a good wine I can take home to loved ones. I made a good decision booking this, thanks Steve.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Jimmy-6-Sep-2019.jpg-Exactly as billed. Awesome animal encounters, cool waterfalls, good wine, and great host.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Small-Group-With-Big-Experiences-In-Southern-Highlands-4-Sep-2019.jpg-I signed up for this trip after learning a Hunter Valley Wine Tour was unavailable due to it being winter. I went into this feeling like I might be settling for a lesser trip, but I was proven very wrong! This day outside of Sydney was very memorable and I'm so happy to have gone. While the three main attractions are the Wildlife, Waterfalls and Wine, there was a lot more than I expected included. These small [off the menu] treasures such as Sea cliff bridge, lunch at Thirroul beach and seeing Kangaroos in the wild (literally off the side of the road at the end of the day), coupled with tour guide Steve's humor and personal touches made this an unforgettable day. As a solo traveler, bring a selfie stick as there are tons of super unique photos ops (including Kangaroos and Koalas). If you aren't one for the selfie stick and on your own, make friends on the tour because with each stop you can take hundreds of photos. As for the big ticket items: highlights from Symbio Wildlife Park including petting a koala and spending lots of time feeding Kangaroos and Wallabies. During our time at Symbio there were multiple Kangaroos with joeys and it was a unique experience to see these babies up close. The waterfall was Fitzroy Falls offering a quick 20 minute walk and a peak into the beautiful blue mountains. The wine tasting at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral was rather quick, but we did try a total of about 20 wines in a variety of whites and reds. This was not a curated experience with sommeliers highlighting different attributes of the wine so you felt a little bit on your own, but the vineyard staff were all kind enough to chat about the wine when asked specific questions. The only thing I would have loved to have added is a coffee stop in the afternoon as if you do get caught in any traffic on your way back into the city it can be a very long day. Overall, the group size being smaller keeps each experience more intimate and hands on. Worth the price!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Caitlin-4-Sep-2019.jpg-I was surprised at first when I couldn’t find a negative review. I realize how silly that sounds, but there’s ALWAYS a negative review. How can you please everyone, right? But Steve has figured it out! Cute animals and a guide who not only knows his stuff, but makes sure to engage with everyone on the tour. I don’t know what else to say besides stop reading the reviews and just book it. By far the highlight of my trip!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Kyle-4-Sep-2019.jpg-My wife and I had a fantastic time on this trip! We debating going on this tour, as we typically rent a car on vacation and do our own thing, and the cost of the tour isn't trivial, but we are so glad we decided to go, because this was our favorite thing we did in Sydney! The day was action packed, but never felt rushed. It was such a cool experience and a great way to get out of Sydney for a day during our stay there and see more wildlife and the surrounding area. We were happy we were in a very small group for the day and had lots of room in the tour bus. Steve was wonderful in every way and was able to answer all of our many questions on wildlife and the area. He was very easy to talk to and it felt like talking to an old friend by the end of the day. We highly recommend doing this tour if you are able!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Kelli-3-Sep-2019.jpg-Steve was an absolute delight. Knowledgeable and funny, he made an effort to get to know everyone on the tour. Definitely recommend the experience, especially if you're a solo traveller. It's a great way to spend your day and see some areas you otherwise might not.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-So-Much-Fun-1-Sep-2019.jpg-The guide was super great, knowledgeable, and friendly. He really made the trip enjoyable. Although the group I went with was a bit of a bore, if you head to this solo you really don’t deal with much face to face time except for lunch. Which was delicious. The wildlife park, the hike to the waterfalls and the wine tour was all worth it! I went home with a bunch of goodies from the wine tour and had no trouble packing it safely in my luggage and bringing it home. Highly recommend!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Jess-30-Aug-2019.jpg-I’m so glad to have done this experience, a small but thorough and well organized sampling of only in Australia activities. Steve was a top notch guide and professional, and funny and personable to boot. This experience more than delivers on all fronts - I left with some wonderful koala and kangaroo selfies, memories of the majestic Fitzroy Falls, and encounters with lovely local wines, including some varietals I never knew existed. Thank you!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Sharon-30-Aug-2019.jpg-This tour was very professionally managed from the beginning till the end. Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife, nature and was really fun too. Feeding the kangaroos and petting the koalas was the highlight of this trip. Great food, amazing wildlife and good wines-this was a 5 star experience worth every cent.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Top-Shelf-30-Aug-2019.jpg-The owner giving the tour is knowledgeable, observant, attentive, detail-oriented, patient, relaxed, and kind - with a good sense of humor and not a whit of game show host style 'happy camper' prattle. The 1st stop (animal reserve) alone is worth the tour price, and everything that came after was just as good - 100s of photos worth of wildlife, scenery, history, botany, food & wine. Limiting groups to ~ 9 people makes for a personal touch. We felt in such good hands, so much so that our first day in Australia might turn out to be our best; our experience was fabulous.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Hannah-28-Aug-2019.jpg-I loved this Airbnb experience. I was just in Sydney a few days following a work trip, and this day trip was a great way to explore beyond the city and experience a bit more of the beauty of Australia. Steve is an excellent host - very knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. We never felt rushed, yet we saw a lot during the day. Definitely recommend!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Maya-26-Aug-2019.jpg-This tour was a bit expensive and I feel it could have been better. We seemed to spend a long time on the road which made the tour really long. What didn't work in our favor was the weather so we couldn't see the waterfall. But pictuees with koala feeding the kangaroos was impressive.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Exploring-The-Southern-Side-Of-Sydney-With-Steve-24-Aug-2019.jpg-My Aunt and I had a fabulous time exploring and experiencing the hidden gems in Southern Sydney. From the wonderful wildlife park with a private encounter with a Koala named Harry, to the yummy beach bar lunch this tour had it all! && the wine! We brought five bottles home between us! Steve was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about what Sydney has to offer. This tour also stood out because it takes you away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the city and away from typical tourists spots to really get an Australian experience.
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-This-Is-A-Must-24-August-2019.jpg-This tour was absolutely amazing! Steve, not the owner, was absolutely hilarious and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Australia. The koalas were a big hit, as well as the roos and wallabies. Centennial Wine was fantastic with a delicious raspberry dessert wine. The waterfall in the Blue Mountains was also beautiful. This was one of our favorite days of honeymoon in Australia. I would recommend to everyone!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Joey-23-Aug-2019.jpg-Wow! Steve killed it. This was an awesome day and a highlight of my Australia trip. Constant and interesting information, amazing sights, great wine, and come on, we fed a freaking kangaroo by hand!!!! Highly recommended
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-WHat-A-Day-22-Aug-2019.jpg-So glad I chose this tour for a day touring south of Sydney! We covered quite a bit of ground between but were never rushed through anything. Very well planned itinerary to fit in so many different experiences in a day's time. Our guide Steve was so entertaining and informative! I highly recommend the Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine tour!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Sneha-19-Aug-2019.jpg-Steve was wonderful- knowledgeable and friendly! The tour was great- beautiful views, and the zoo was a unique experience. Great job!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Jer-19-Aug-2019.jpg-All I can say is WOW. This was one of the best decisions I made on this vacation. Steve #2 (as he's known) was a very friendly and insightful tour guide. Me and my girlfriend had a terrific time on this 12 hour tour throughout the Sydney southern coastline. Steve was fun and very knowledgeable throughout the tour and we got to see things we would have never thought of if we did it on our own. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area, you get way more in the experience then they charge!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Maxime-19-Aug-2019.jpg-Great experience, would recommend!
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-Wonderful-Day-Trip-Around-The-South-East-16-Aug-2019.jpg-I definitely recommend this experience with Steve! Such a highlight for our trip here in Sydney. Steve is very friendly and you can feel how passionate he is about his work! He has a lot of knowledge that he shares along the journey. He makes everyone feels welcome and included, that's something we really appreciated! In the morning, we went through the Royal National Park to go to the Symbio Wildlife Park where we saw koala, cockatoos, meerkat, etc. Steve also gave us some food to give to the kangaroos and wallabies! We really had time to enjoy the kangaroos and visit the park. Then, we went to the Sea Cliff Bridge and had lunch at a restaurant in front of the beach, the food was delicious. When we arrived at the restaurant, we didn't wait a long time for our meals to come, as Steve already ordered them when we were at the Symbio Wildlife Park. In the afternoon, we went to see the beautiful waterfall of Fitzroy Falls and had the chance to see a waterfall rainbow. Steve shares his botanical knowledge which made us enjoy the day trip even more. Finally, we went to the Centennial Vineyards which is 5 stars vineyard for the wine tasting. All of us were happy to taste several wines that match our personal taste. On the roads to go back to Sydney, we were fortunate to see wild kangaroos, and Steve also gave us an australian sweet snack to taste! SO, don't hesitate to book this day trip tour, it's an enjoyable experience that you'll definitely won't regret :)
Wildlife-Waterfalls-Wine-review-The-Perfect-Day-Trip-From-Sydney-16-Aug-2019.jpg-WW&W exceeded expectations on every element of the trip. Steve, #1, the owner and tour operator, is well-informed (he grew up in the area), congenial (answers any and every question), and was willing to hike us off the beaten track to see a Lyrebird’s courtship ritual in action. Great sense of humor too. The lunch was delicious; sites all interesting; the small group vibe very comfortable. Getting close to nature - after a week in the city - was perfect and I have now fallen in love with the southern highlands (the ranches, thermos and the red wines). Well worth the extra dough!
